Founder Ed Bird comes from a close-knit family of designers and artists who are involved in many aspects of the design process. Bird Sunglasses was born when Ed was looking for a way to combine his skills in design, business and social entrepreneurship to create a beautiful product that would make an impact in more ways than one.
“Looking good is one thing – but doing good is so much more important. Share Your Sun is a way to connect with the bigger picture and contribute to a more sustainable world”

Designed for individuals who want to change the world and look good while doing it. Bird Sunglasses is committed to creating beautiful, thoughtful products that look great and do good.
Polarised lenses reduce glare, enhance colours and sharpen vision. 100% UVA and UVB protection (UV400) comes as standard. Each pair comes with a Share Your Sun microsuede cloth, leather strap and either soft cork or beautiful handmade leather case.
We put the utmost care into the manufacturing process, from designing our signature feather etching to building ongoing relationships with manufacturers and partners we trust.
As we start our journey, we’d love to have you on-board. #joinourflock
In a sea of sunglasses, Bird soars above. Lightweight frames, fun styles, and a brand that brings light and support to those in need….I couldn’t be more excited to be one of many committed to #shareyoursun
Bird sunglasses are not just handmade masterpieces, they make an uncool, hat wearing beardy singer look way cooler… Oh and they’re also super lightweight, and help me see better on a bright day – it’s a win win and I love them!
Everyone who knows me knows how important I think giving back to others is, so it’s no surprise I love, love, love these gorgeous Bird sunglasses not only because they’re the coolest, most beautifully crafted sunglasses but because every pair sold brings light to remote communities in Africa so it’s a double win reminding us how fortunate we are 😎💡
What more could you want? They look great, lightweight and comfortable, made from sustainable materials plus a donated solar light through SolarAid. I love them and my friends keep asking where they can get a pair!
Love my Bird sunglasses – light to wear, durable, stylish, trend setting in both fashion and philanthropy. An inspiring way to share the Californian sun!
